THE WOOHOO REVUE
Electric performances, extravagant costumes
and frenzied virtuosity, The Woohoo Revue is
a travelling circus of sound that transcends
geography and time. This fiendishly talented
collective has been tirelessly touring their all-
out instrumental party across Australia and
Europe, liberating dance-floors from crowds
of merry revellers to tornadoes of joyous

Zambezi Sounds is a Canberra based band
playing a vibrant mix of contemporary and
traditional African music. Their repertoire
includes instrumental music with great
dance rhythms and vocal pieces, stories and
songs, both serious and light-hearted and
more recently, reggae. The band is fronted
by Zimbabwean musicians Felix Machiridza
(mbira, African drums, and vocals), Ben
Mutandadzi (bass guitar and vocals) and Gus
Chinanai (conga, percussion and vocals).
Zambezi Sounds has performed at three
National Multicultural festivals and plays
regularly around Canberra music venues
including Old Canberra Inn and the Polish
White Eagle Club as well as at charity events.

The Festival is a licensed event and operates its own bar serving a range of alcoholic
drinks. The proceeds help keep ticket prices down. Please patronise our bar but do
